The two gentlemen in the header image are Giordano Bruno (left) and St. Robert Cardinal Bellarmine (right). One was a heretic, the other his inquisitor. One got burned at the stake and was a brilliant (if not always right) scientist, the other a faithful servant of the ecclesiastical establishment who has colleges named after him. Only one is the subject of one of Dr. Bonzo’s favorite books, Giordano Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition, by Dame Frances Yates
